It is that time of the year....
please remind your children
to dress warmly & in layers.
Cough or sneeze into your sleeve
and wash your hands!!
We have begun to see an increase in the number of ill children at school. In order to prevent the spread of disease, please consider the following guidelines:
Please keep your child home if any one of the following occurs:
·Temperature of 100 degrees or higher within the last 24 hours
·Vomiting or diarrhea within the last 24 hours
·Any symptoms of acute illness such as persistent cough, runny nose or body aches
·Red eye(s) accompanied by discharge, a classic sign of conjunctivitis (pink eye)
Your child should behave like him/herself for 24 hours before returning to school. This will protect your child from exposure to other illness before he/she is able to build resistance. It will also protect other student’s and staff from what your child may transmit.
