about me

Hello!

My name is Darcie Petersen and I am honored to be your child's third grade teacher.  This will be my ninth year teaching at Standing Bear.  I previously taught 2nd and 3rd grades at Belvedere Academy before taking time off to be a stay at home mom and substitute for OPS.

My hobbies include reading, shopping, and spending time with friends and family.  My husband and I have 2 boys. Parker who is a senior in college at Nebraska Wesleyan and Logan who wil be a freshman at Iowa State.

I believe in open communication to handle any questions or concerns.  There are a couple of ways to reach me, one way is through email at darcie.petersen@ops.org.  I check my email daily or you can call the school and leave a message.

I know we are going to have a great year!!!!
