Hi! I am Laurelin Moeller, the new K-4 music specialist at Standing Bear. I am thrilled to be here! Once a week, I spend an hour with each class, and we pack a lot into that time. In class, we work on music literacy, performance skills, and artistic creation. I sincerely believe that all students can and should have basic music-reading skills, and and I am committed to helping my students build them. Through singing, dancing, playing instruments, and creating, music students will also explore the broad world around them, gain self-confidence, and experience the joy of music-making.

After moving to Nebraska last December, I completed my student teaching in Weeping Water. I hold a degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Choral/General Music Education. I am a trained pianist and singer. In my free time, I enjoy camping, hiking, travel, and of course, singing. Just a heads up: I got married this past fall, so my name has changed from Miss Berkley to Mrs. Moeller! I look forward to a year of music-making and growth. You are invited to visit or contact me for any reason!
