Mealtimes: These are times where we go over Daily Communication Notebooks and have conversations about what we did last night. We focus on having conversations and asking and answering questions. You can help during this time by filling out your child's notebook each night.
Music & Movement: We participate in free dancing, songs with actions, singing, playing instruments, rhythm exercises, and some guided movement exercises.
Tasks: Each day we do a short activity at the tables with a focus on finishing a task. Sometimes we do puzzles, beads, draw pictures, file folder games, board games, sorting activities, etc.
Centers: Children learn best through play. We participate in centers twice daily and offer blocks, science, dramatic play, library, toys and games, art, and the sensory table.
*We also participate in gym, library, and guidance as schedules allow. In addition, we have twice weekly visits from the Speech-Language Pathologist.
