Summer is upon us. I hope everyone has an fun and relaxing time. Don't forget to practice your math facts, especially multiplication facts. Read every day during the summer, at least 20 - 30 minutes. Keep a journal of your summer vacation to keep your writing skills sharp.
Back to School Night is Monday, August 14th, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. I look forward to meeting you. Bring your school supplies to put in your desk and see your classroom.
The first day of school is Thursday, August 17th. Rest up as we will be working hard all year long. Have a wonderful summer!

Reading daily during the summer is a good habit to develop. Read a variety of genres, fiction, nonfiction, science fiction, fantasy. Try a new genre you haven't read before. Also, visit Standing Bear's library. The Omaha Public Library has a summer reading program as well.
Practice your addition, subtraction, multiplication basic facts. Memorize your multiplication facts through 12 over the summer.
